Rapper Because, one of the most promising artists in the vibrant Pinoy hip-hop scene, is back with the unveiling of his most recent album, "Heartbreak SZN 3." This is the third album in his highly praised music series and illustrates how he has developed as an artist since he made his debut in 2018 with the first "Heartbreak SZN" album. Because — real name BJ Castillano — became well-known at the young age of 17 thanks to singles like "Marlboro Black" and "Sandali."
Now in his early twenties, he pushes the limits of his craft, Because continues to explore themes of heartbreak and regret across his four albums.
Because disclosed in a special interview that "HEARTBREAK SZN 3" is his most intimate album to date, including influences from his travels, romantic relationships, and daily living – that some are even written 2 years ago before the release. He clarified that, in contrast to his earlier albums, this one is more about his personal tales, giving fans a better sense of who he is.
Produced by NEXXFRIDAY, the 15-track album includes collaborations with musicians such as Ace Cirera, SUPA FLY, Allison Shore, LarkMester, and Nino Armani that certainly spiced up the album more.
