Following the release of his infectious singles ‘COMMUNICATE’ featuring Indonesian Award-winning electronic artist Jevin Julian and the genre-blending track ‘STAY’ in 2024, CHISEKO returns today with the ‘ON MY MIND’, with Filipino collective PLAYERTWO, via Say Less and Warner Music Australia.

‘On My Mind’ explores a budding romance driven by deep attraction to somebody special. The collaboration combines CHISEKO’s signature progressive sound with PLAYERTWO’s unique energy. CHISEKO travelled to Malaysia for a Warner Music Malaysia writing session with PLAYERTWO, and joined them on stage at the WE PLAY HERE festival.
Speaking further on the new single, CHISEKO said, “‘On my mind’ came about during the Warner Music Malaysia writing camp. My very first session of the camp was with Playertwo and Sea Travel. Sea Travel had prepared a few beats and as soon as I heard this one I knew I had something for it. It took me about 15 minutes to lay down the demo but as I was walking into the booth to record the final version my hand got slammed into a wall by the recording room door. I ended up spending the rest of the day in hospital getting stitches… Overall it was a fun track to make and getting to work with the guys and become friends was the cherry on top. It might be the quickest track I’ve ever made.”
CHISEKO participated in an eight-day writing camp in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and during this time he connected with seven global artists from across the Warner Music Group, marking the first time that these divisions had collaborated in such a comprehensive music camp.
With the progressive sound of KAYTRANADA, infectious groove of Anderson Paak, and the ease and comfort of artists like Q-tip, Cordae and Mos Def, CHISEKO crafts a unique and additive sonic experience. Chiseko set the standards high with his debut single ‘JUICE’ sitting at 9M Spotify streams. CHISEKO has since supported FKJ, Winston Surfshirt, Yung Gravy and Boo Seeka as well as sleeping out two headline shows and performing six packed showcases across BIGSOUND 2023 and SXSW 2023/2024. In November, he debuted his headline tour with sold-out shows in Melbourne and Sydney, with his hometown performance at Si Paradiso in Perth selling out in under 48 hours.
Simultaneously playful and heartbreaking, CHISEKO’s lyrics touch on all universal aspects of the human experience, making his discography feel like returning home. “I make music that exists somewhere in between a sunset drive with your hair bowling in the wind and a sweaty rave in an underground basement”, said CHISEKO.
With more music to come in 2025, CHISEKO is set to garner a huge amount of attention over the coming months.
