Remember when you used to receive hand me down clothes from your cousins as birthday and Christmas presents? Naka gift wrap pa talaga yun ha. Hahaha. Remember waiting for Sweetheart to notice your beat up shoes before she offers to buy you a new one? Heck you never owned a walkman or any musical gadget growing up. Your only access to music was when you visit your cousins house during the weekends. You wait for everyone to sleep and sneak out to listen to Gary Vs Faces of Love album in low volume again and again until you memorize Look In Her Eyes. Hahaha. Classics moments.
You started riding the bus going to PNU as early as grade 3. Bullying your classmates for food. Nangingikil ka pa ng barya hanggang may pera ka pang kain after school. Haha tapos pinilit kang sumali sa singing contest tapos nakalimutan mo yung lyrics so you made the audience sing it for you. Disqualified. Yup. Fun times.
Alcoholic at the age of 16. No clue on what you want in life. You were reckless and aimless. Abused and left out. Nadapa, bumangon, naging bida, naging kontrabida, nagkamali at natuto. Repeat.

But the day you started your journey of faith was the day your life made a 180 degree turn. You found out your life had meaning. Hindi ka pala sumingaw sa lupa. Hahaha. You discovered this innate desire for music. its not just a career but a calling.
Wala kang “this boy started singing at the age of 3” o kaya “the moment he held the mic everyone knew he was made to sing” walang ganung drama. But you were always the hardest working man in the room not the most skilled. You knew God called you to music thats why NO ONE CAN OUT WORK YOU.
