Wave to Earth, Played in Manila!

Manila, Philippines — February 28, 2025, marked a night to remember as Wave To Earth took the stage at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila. The atmosphere was electric, buzzing with anticipation from fans eager to experience the unique soundscapes and heartfelt lyrics that have become the band's signature, once again embracing us after their last visit from their First Era concert.

As the lights dimmed and the opening notes of "Are You Bored?" from their latest released album, filled the arena, and the crowd erupted with excitement. It was a perfect start, setting the tone for the evening with its infectious energy. Fans felt a wave of connection to everyone around, united by the music they love.
Next up was "Play With Earth!"—a track that had everyone dancing and singing along. The vibrant melodies and playful beats made it impossible to stand still. It was clear that Wave To Earth knew how to engage their audience, creating an atmosphere of pure joy. Fans couldn't help but dance to the riffs and the drums that filled the place, as well as jump to the upbeat music.
Then came "Peach Eyes," a more introspective moment in the set. The band's ability to blend uplifting rhythms with poignant themes was truly remarkable. The energy surged again with "Bad," a fan favorite that had the entire arena singing in unison with the band.
"Slow Dive" followed, a dreamy track that enveloped us in its soothing soundscape. It was a moment of calm amidst the excitement, allowing us to catch our breath while still feeling deeply connected to the music. Followed was "Beck", and then "Pueblo - Remastered 2024", which was a special treat. The remastered version brought a fresh perspective to a classic, and it's appreciated how they took a track that many of us cherished and made it even more vibrant.
As the night progressed, "Holyland" brought everyone to a reflective pause. With flashlights on to create a sea of makeshift stars, the tune allowed the audience to lose themselves in the music. It was a moment of connection. The nostalgic tones of "Homesick" followed, striking a chord in everyone's hearts. It was a beautiful reminder of the past, filled with memories and longing. The band's ability to evoke such deep feelings through their music is a testament to their artistry.
As the concert approached its conclusion, the band played "annie." But the night wasn't over yet. "Wave" and their most requested song, "Seasons", a fan favorite and a song that perfectly encapsulated yearning even through the passage of time.
Finally, they closed the night with "Pink." with a bit of a longer rendition and a more upbeat vibe to cheer the crowd after a sentimental track. Once again, Wave to Earth had delivered an unforgettable performance that resonated with each and everyone of us.

As the last notes faded, each member of the band introduced themselves and left a parting message for the fans, shared individual projects, and lifted them up with the promise to be back very soon. With the lights coming up and the band leaves the stage one by one, each fan surely left SM Mall of Asia Arena feeling exhilirated and fulfilled.
